Ingredients
- Tomatoes chopped: 3 cups
- Onions: 1 cup
- Carrot: ½ cup
- Masoor dal soaked : ¼ cup
- Powdered Jaggery: 2 tsp
- Salt and Pepper: to taste
Method
- Pressure cook the Masoor dal, carrots and tomatoes with 4 cups of water in a cooker.
- Blend the mixture and keep aside.
- Saute the onions on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
- Since we are not using oil use a non-stick pan or spray the pan with cooking oil.
- You may sprinkle a little water if it starts sticking to the pan.
- Add the tomato mixture, jaggery salt and pepper.
- Bring it to boil.
- Serve hot.
