Ingredients
- Basil leaves: ¼ cup
- Onions finely chopped: ½ cup
- Carrot finely chopped: ¼ cup
- French beans finely chopped: ¼ cup
- Pasta whole wheat: ¼ cup
- Vegetable stock: 4 cups
- Cabbage grated: ¼ cup
- Salt and Pepper: to taste
Method
- Blend the basil leaves in a little water and keep it aside.
- Saute the onions on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
- Since we are not using oil use a non-stick pan or spray the pan with cooking oil.
- You may sprinkle a little water if it starts sticking to the pan.
- Steam the other vegetables in a steamer.
- Add the steamed vegetables to the onions and saute for a minute.
- Cook the pasta in the vegetable stock till done.
- Add the vegetable mixture to the pasta add more stock if required.
- Add the basil paste, salt and pepper to taste. Boil for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
- Garnish with Parsley.
