Ingredients

  • Carrot grated:  half cup
  • Beetroot boiled and grated: half cup
  • Low fat curd whisked: one cup
  • Salt and roasted jeera powder: to taste

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl whisk well.
  2. Serve chilled.
  3. The colour that the beetroot lends to the raita is a visual delight.
  4. Full of calcium, iron and vitamin A.
